How do I access the Online Library of Interactive ISDA Documentation?
Organizations that are members of ISDA are allowed to purchase a subscription to the Online Library of Interactive ISDA Documentation.
-
Why do I need register when my firm is already a subscriber to this service?
In order to improve security and provide our members/subscribers with the best possible experience when visiting the website (‘site’) ISDA now requires existing subscribers to register their email address, set their password, and collect general demographic information the first time they attempt to enter the Online Library site.
ISDA has upgraded the Online Library site to take advantage of new technologies and in the process has upgraded the security algorithms that grant access to the site. In this way ISDA can ensure that all paid subscribers and registered users have complete access to the wealth of documentation available on the site.
-
How can I activate my account once I have completed the registration process?
Once you have successfully completed the on-line registration process an email will be sent to the email address you provided. This email will contain a unique link specific to your individual account that, when clicked, will activate your login and password. You will then be able to login to the site through the main Online Library login page.

If this is not the case please visit http://www.isda.org for detailed information on how to become a member, or contact ISDA at 212-901-6000 or email to customercare@isda.org.

Yes. Passwords are case sensitive so be sure that your “Caps Lock” button is off.

What are the system requirements for using The Library?
- The Library can be accessed from the following operating systems: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows XP and Windows 2000. If you use an operating system that is not listed here please contact the ISDA Information Technology Department at customercare@isda.org.
The Online Library of Interactive ISDA Documentation works best with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher. While Netscape Navigator allows for some functionality it does not support Adobe Acrobat PDF documents sufficiently for optimal use of the Library. The Library opens a separate browser window to display ISDA Documents. Therefore if you have programs loaded on your system to disable “pop up” windows, the Library may not function the way it was intended. If you do have this type of software installed you should disable it during your Library sessions.
- Cookies must be enabled to use this library. Cookies are small files that contain information such as user names and preferences, about visitors to a web site. In order for the Library to personalize your data your browser must be configured to allow or “enable” temporary session cookies.
Internet Explorer (IE) allows changes to the security preferences that enable cookie files. The menu options allow you to accept all, some, or none of your incoming cookies. In addition, the “warn before accepting” feature is available, if you want to screen your incoming cookies. Following are the steps to ensure that your cookies are enabled in Internet Explorer.
• In IE 6.0, go to the Tools/Internet Options/Privacy menu. This menu allows you to select how discriminating the browser will be when accepting cookies, based on two factors -- (1) the source of the cookie, and (2) whether the source has a “privacy policy.” There are also features for the advanced user, if you'd like to have a greater control over cookies. For more information on managing your cookies in IE 6.0 go to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q283185
• In IE 5.0, go to the Tools/Internet Options/Security menu. In there, you can choose the security level for 4 different browsing conditions: Internet Sites, Local Sites, “Trusted” Sites, and Restricted Sites. If you select “Internet,” and click on Custom Level, you'll get a dialog box where you can accept all, warn before accepting, or reject all cookies. For more information on managing your cookies in IE 5.0 go to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q283185
• In IE 4.0, go to the View/Internet Options/Advanced menu. There you can accept all, warn before accepting, or reject all.
